SS Rajamouli directed Magadheera, starring Ram Charan, Srihari and Kajal in the lead roles, completed a record one year run in a Kurnool theatre
(Lakshmi A/C DTS). The film, which released on 31st July, 2009, has gone on to create records and new milestones. It collected approximately Rs. 65 crore. "From day one I knew Magadheera would be a success. But I did not quite expect the film to reach the 365-day mark. And I'm proud to have directed such a film," says an elated Rajamouli. Produced by Allu Arvind under the banner of Geetha Arts, Magadheera has music by MM Keeravani, story by V. Vijayendra Prasad, dialogues by M. Ratnam, cinematography by KK Senthil Kumar, art by R. Ravinder and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
