Badrinath is a hit in Kerala
There were two other straight Malayalam films released along with Badrinath, but the combined collections of both the films in first three days isn’t even half of Allu Arjun’s movie. However, Badrinath is not carrying good report in Kerala.
Despite losing its grip from fourth day, Badrinath will still recover its distribution and promotion costs (1.20 crore) in first ten days. Hence, Badrinath proved a commercial hit in Kerala. But the Telugu version will have to do very good business for at least four weeks to breakeven says the trade, which seems unlikely at the moment.
No 'Magadheera' Mistake For 'Badrinath'
The time has come for the biggest ever project of Geetha Arts banner to take the litmus test. We are talking about ‘Badrinath’ and as it hits the screens on June 10th, enough precautions are being taken by the makers. Leading from the front is Allu Aravind and it is heard that he is not repeating the mistake he did for ‘Magadheera’.
Apparently, two years after ‘Magadheera’ release, the dubbed versions were released in Tamil and Malayalam. As a result the response has been lukewarm. If only it was released simultaneously, the hype would have been strong and the results would have been much higher.
But now, it is heard that ‘Badrinath’ is being released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam as well. As such, Allu Arjun has a strong following in Kerala so the trade pundits say it will have a positive impact on the collections due to parallel release. Now, all rests on how good the film will be.
Badrinath Malayalam dubbing rights sold for a record price
The craze for Allu Arjun’s dance and fights is such in Kerala that the Malayalam dubbing rights of ‘Badrinath’ was sold for a record price of Rs 1.10 crores. Redhak Films paid this tempting figure and bagged the dubbing rights. ‘Badrinath’ is going to be released on June 10th in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Directed by V V Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts banner, the film stars Allu Arjun and Tamanna as lead pair.
As you all know, all Bunny’s films are being dubbed in Malayalam and released across Kerala on a large scale.

We had a wonderful time and covered four cities in a short span. However, packing and unpacking, removing shoes and watches at security check were minor irritants, but spending quality time with family members was great,” he says. Veering towards his upcoming film which boasts of many firsts, he says “I like to be a trendsetter, so I am reviving multi-starrer trend in Tollywood. I think more than the footage, the impact of the character counts.
Frankly, I volunteered to do this role after hearing the script from director Krish since I want to be known as someone who constantly raises the bar as an actor,” he reasons and elaborates “I have heard cynical comments from filmmakers from other states downgrading Telugu cinema as senseless potboilers. I hope other saleable stars do at least one refreshing and new-age film every year to change the face of Telugu cinema,” he points out.
Why do we expect superstars to be instrumental in bringing in change. Is it because the Telugu audience is still star struck? “That’s right. Not that I blame the audience. Personally, even I like watching star-studded films.
Due to hiked ticket rates, as a viewer I’d like to place my bet on a familiar face, though a film with a debutant could be more endearing and watchable,” he points out. However, Allu doesn’t like off-beat movies and prefers tastefully made commercial films that appropriately blend “a novel plot with commercial ingredients”.

On the personal front, he reiterates his passion for fitness. “Fitness regimen is a must for every professional and we shouldn’t ignore it citing lack of time. We need to allot at least an hour every day for a healthy body and mind.

All kerala Ram Charan Fans Orkut community started

Badrinath's malayalam version is through Pallavi International (Lakshmi fame). Geetha arts cant directly do the film in kerala. So they are choosing Pallavi for Badrinath.

Mega powerstar Ram charan's evergreen movie Magadheera will hit kerala theatres on february 2011. Stylish star Allu arjun and Mega powerstar Ram charan tej will be possibly coming to kerala for the audio launch. Magadheera will hit kerala in february though Pallavi international.

Allu Arjun Films will ban in Kerala
According to the complaint of Mr.Ravi [Dhivya Pictures] who has already given the advance for the film Vedam, the distributers association has going to ban Bunny films.
Allu Arjun was the part of giving dubbing rights of the 'Vedam' film. allu Arjuns crew had given the rights to Thameens Productions. Its quite sure that a team is working against Allu arjun and his fan clubs in kerala.
