Badrinath is a hit in Kerala

Allu Arjun yet again proves his strong hold in Kerala. His latest film Badrinath has done exceptional business in its first weekend. It has collected a theatrical share of Rs. 67 lakh in Kerala in just three days. This is on par with any big Malayalam star’s film.

There were two other straight Malayalam films released along with Badrinath, but the combined collections of both the films in first three days isn’t even half of Allu Arjun’s movie. However, Badrinath is not carrying good report in Kerala.

Despite losing its grip from fourth day, Badrinath will still recover its distribution and promotion costs (1.20 crore) in first ten days. Hence, Badrinath proved a commercial hit in Kerala. But the Telugu version will have to do very good business for at least four weeks to breakeven says the trade, which seems unlikely at the moment.

Badrinath collects Rs 7.5 crs on opening day

Allu Arjun-Tamanna starrer ‘Badrinath’ has hit the theatres worldwide on June 10th. V V Vinayak directed the film and Allu Aravind produced it under Geeta Arts banner. The film is said to have created a record by collecting Rs 7.5 crores on the first day itself in entire part of India. The following is the collection list in different areas.

Badrinath's Malayalam version creates sensation

The Malayalam version of 'Badrinath', in which Allu ajrun has played the lead, has become the talk of the town all over Kerala.
This is because Allu Arjun has got a tremendous fan base following in Mollywood. Because of this, the distribution rights of the Malayalam version has been sold for a huge amount.
Quarters related to the production unit have declared that Redhak Films has got the distribution rights for 1.10 crores; but it is not known whether satellite rights have been included or not.
V.V Vinayak, one of the leading directors of Tollywood, has directed 'Badrinath'. Tamanna Bhatia and Prakash Raj are playing significant roles. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on the 10th of June.

A source quotes that this film’s Malayalam distribution rights were sold at whopping Rs.1.1 Crore, a mark which isn’t achieved by any other South Indian non-Kerala hero in Kerala.

It is not surprising that even Telugu Fans of allu arjun are willing to see same records created for ‘Badrinath’ at Tollywood Box office. With release date nearing by, there is good amount of positive enthusiasm building upon the flick all around the State. Wish that Mallu arjun will carry Mallu records to Telugu field.

The craze for Allu Arjun’s dance and fights is such in Kerala that the Malayalam dubbing rights of ‘Badrinath’ was sold for a record price of Rs 1.10 crores. Redhak Films paid this tempting figure and bagged the dubbing rights. ‘Badrinath’ is going to be released on June 10th in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. Directed by V V Vinayak and produced by Allu Aravind under Geeta Arts banner, the film stars Allu Arjun and Tamanna as lead pair.

As you all know, all Bunny’s films are being dubbed in Malayalam and released across Kerala on a large scale.
