Badrinath gets new promotional angle

Though the film initially got a ‘flop’ talk from the critics and the audiences too, All Arjun’sBadrinath is gradually doing a good show at the nearby theatres. Interestingly, the collections stand next to Ram Charan’s Magadheera in the ranking and hopefully, the producers and distributors would get the returns safely by the end of third week.
Meanwhile, the makers of the film – director VV Vinayak and producer Allu Aravind are plotting different strategies to make the Telugu audiences come to theatres. While a pilgrim trip was planned for a few lucky winners in a contest, Vinayak came up with an excellent idea of bringing the divine soil of Badrinath Temple to all the theatres where the film is being screened. Since the soil is considered sacred and believed to have medicinal values, the common man would obviously queue at the theatres, thus increasing the collections of the films. What an idea, sirji?!
Catch Allu Arjun live

In keeping with its billing as one of Hyderabad's most sought-after Tollywood FM stations, Radio Mirchi has consistently brought Tollywood's biggest stars to interact live with its listeners. Catch Tollywood's Stylish Star Allu Arjun live on Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM today afternoon, with RJ Ghajini.
On the occasion of the release of Allu Arjun's blockbuster "Badrinath", Mirchi had done an exclusive on air and website contest for its listeners to select a lucky few who could meet Allu Arjun at their studio. The innovative contest, titled "Meelo Badrinath-Mirchi Lo Badrinath", asked listeners to rewrite the title song track of "Badrinath" — 'Kannu moosthe Badrinath, kannu theristhe Badrinath' — changing all words except the word 'Badrinath' in every line.
The response to the contest has been overwhelming so far, reiterating the ever increasing popularity of both the star, Allu Arjun, and the station, Radio Mirchi.
In addition to meeting the lucky winners of the contest, Allu Arjun will interact live with Mirchi listeners between 4 pm and 5 pm, and talk about his experiences in filming the movie, the special effects, the path-breaking actions scenes, and of course the superhit songs and dances. Plus, a very Mirchi style interview of the Stylish Star by movie buff RJ Ghajini that will make it memorable to all fans and listeners alike.
"Badrinath", a big-budget flick in Tollywood, is one of the industry's most ambitious ventures ever. The story deals with the emotional struggle of a warrior guarding the famous Badrinath temple in the Himalayas, who is torn between the love of a girl and the trust and zeal of his teacher. Directed by V V Vinayak, the film's charbusting music has been composed by maestro MM Keeravani.

Allu Arjun-Trivikram’s new project in development

Allu Arjun’s ‘Badrinath’ which was made under Geetha Arts banner failed to impress the audience despite the work of top technicians like story writter Chinni Krishna, music director M M Keeravani, cinematographer S Ravi Varman, art director Anand Babu, fight master Peter Hynes, editor Gautham Raju and the captain of the team V V Vinayak. The reason being, the story lacks necessary elements of intensity and interest.
Now Allu Arjun has a new project in development with Trivikram. As per the reports, the actor has given his nod to Trivikram and will start shooting for the film from mid July i.e., after his holidays in overseas. DVV Danaiah, who produced films like ‘Desamuduru’ and ‘Varudu’ with Allu Arjun, will be now producing this film under his banner Universal Media. On the other hand, Allu Arjun’s film to be produced by Dil Raju under Vasu Varma’s direction is most likely to begin in September.
