Allu Arjun is a hit in Tamil Nadu

Allu Arjun is breaking new ground in Tamil Nadu. Along with his home-turf Andhra Pradesh, he’s promoting 7Up in the neighbouring state, which is a new chapter in the world of endorsements.
Usually, brands rope in popular stars from the respective states, but the flamboyant persona of Allu Arjun, forced the soft drink company to run the commercial even in Tamil Nadu. “We just finished dubbing for it and the commercial ,with a youngster trying to pacify two fans of rival soccer teams is already making waves,” says a source in the production house.
Earlier, Allu Arjun was the first Telugu star to win appreciation of the Kerala audience with his hits Arya and Badrinath. “I may soon do a Malayalam film,” he informs. Is he ready to take on the might of Mohanlal and Mammooty? “Such comparisons are unfair since they are legends,” he says.

No 'Magadheera' Mistake For 'Badrinath'

The time has come for the biggest ever project of Geetha Arts banner to take the litmus test. We are talking about ‘Badrinath’ and as it hits the screens on June 10th, enough precautions are being taken by the makers. Leading from the front is Allu Aravind and it is heard that he is not repeating the mistake he did for ‘Magadheera’.
Apparently, two years after ‘Magadheera’ release, the dubbed versions were released in Tamil and Malayalam. As a result the response has been lukewarm. If only it was released simultaneously, the hype would have been strong and the results would have been much higher.
But now, it is heard that ‘Badrinath’ is being released simultaneously in Tamil and Malayalam as well. As such, Allu Arjun has a strong following in Kerala so the trade pundits say it will have a positive impact on the collections due to parallel release. Now, all rests on how good the film will be.

Allu Arjun’s request to Bala

Allu Arjun has always yearned to work with Kollywood filmmakers as he is impressed with their brilliant style of filmmaking. He has also been discussing more scripts with A-league moviemakers from Kodambakkam that includes Gautham Menon, Vishnuvardhan, etc. He has always had a great desire to work with filmmaker Bala as his films dubbed in Telugu rock in Andhra Pradesh, winning critical acclaims and spinning good collections for the producers as well.
Allu Arjun was astonished over the magnetizing teasers of ‘Vaadu Veedu’ (Telugu version of ‘Avan Ivan) that was screened during the audio launch of the film. Impressed with the entire team, Allu Arjun was high on praises for them. He made his request to Bala saying that he must make direct Telugu films and he is very keen on working with him.
Adding more, he said, “I am sure, soon after the film’s release, Vishal will get more offers in Telugu. Arya has been a good friend over the years and we share a good rapport.”

Badrinath's Malayalam version creates sensation

The Malayalam version of 'Badrinath', in which Allu ajrun has played the lead, has become the talk of the town all over Kerala.
This is because Allu Arjun has got a tremendous fan base following in Mollywood. Because of this, the distribution rights of the Malayalam version has been sold for a huge amount.
Quarters related to the production unit have declared that Redhak Films has got the distribution rights for 1.10 crores; but it is not known whether satellite rights have been included or not.
V.V Vinayak, one of the leading directors of Tollywood, has directed 'Badrinath'. Tamanna Bhatia and Prakash Raj are playing significant roles. This film will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on the 10th of June.
