Naga Chaitanya (Telugu: నాగ చైతన్య), born on November 23, 1986 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, is a film actor. He is the son of popular actor, andhra superstar Akkineni Nagarjuna, the grandson of Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and the nephew of actor Venkatesh.[1] He made his film debut with Josh, which was released on 5th September 2009.

Directed by Vasu Varma, and produced by noted producer, Dil Raju.[1] An initial date of the 3rd of September for release, was delayed due to the death of Andra Pradesh's Chief Minister, Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. It was eventually released two days later.
